Guestbooks
After every performance, the audience exits into a space where a couple of Guestbooks are laid out. Some people write in them; some don’t. Some send emails which are then taped into the books.
- Well: It gave me a new way of looking at confusion & Reality. (Mathilde)
- Like being in a David Lynch film.
- Your cells need chemical DNA, your mind needs theatrical DNA. (DDBCM)
- NOT ONLY DO YOU WATCH DNA ... IT WATCHES YOU. (Pan)
- When does this genius get recognized? (Sky Gilbert)
- Drivel - pretentious - long-winded, without pace and full of meaningless images.
- Congratulations! A beautiful orchestration of non-emotion.
- Stop before you bore people. Irritating the audience with a drawn out ending, does not help any message. And being different only for the sake of being different makes me want to stay home.
- Absolutely Superb production, design, conception, script, lighting, ACTING: THANK YOU.
- Sometimes boring, sometimes exciting, stimulating production. I thought the complexities of the different viewpoints quite fascinating. I question the painful impact this might have on the families involved - felt that a longer elapse of time would have been better. (Patricia Blair)
- Theatre, to me, is about the expression of intellect through language. It is not an opportunity for fascist-like abuse of the audience, from regimentation at the door to an incomprehensible series of images without meaning.
- I believe the piece relied too strongly on the passion inherent in the music as opposed to the passion within the words & and action themselves. What I saw was structure masquerading as substance.
- Great blend of music, movement & word-confrontations. Beautiful tableaux.
- Theatre or Art - Art or Theatre - One or Both? It was great.
- Hillar & cast - great performance piece - bizarre & startling like its subject. Event-theatre at its most creative. Keep it up - shock us jaded middle-class clones
- I'd love a copy of the letter sent to you from the mayor of Orangeville. It sums up their mentality. I've enjoyed your play immensely, very expressive of the emotions and chaos which occurred.
- Oli hea etendus! Ehkki keelt ei osanud, siiski taguots ei väsinud. (Aarne Vahtra)
- Unique presentation ... However, very difficult to follow. (Were we meant to follow?) ... The element of art becomes questionable ... Very strange!
